JANUARY: Enjoy the Balloon Festival in nearby Bluff, Utah.
Colorful balloons seem right at home among the red rocks.

MAY 7: Indian Arts Festival at the Edge of the Cedars Museum.
Tribes from all over the Southwest come to the festival to display
their art and jewelry. The Indian Arts Festival offers a true Native
American experience with local artists and traditional demonstrations.

MAY 21: Huff to Bluff Marathon, starting in Blanding. A small town
marathon with big race accommodations. Register soon!
JULY 4: No one hosts a 4th of
July celebration like Blanding! Start the festivities with the Mayor's
Prayer Breakfast, then choose a spot on Main Street to cheer a
traditional parade. Special events fill the day with food and craft
booths and carnival rides. End the celebration with a bang as you
watch Blanding's incredible firework's show.

SEPTEMBER: A highlight of September in Blanding is the San Juan ATV Safari. People from all over the United States attend this event. Blanding has some of the best ATV trails in North America! From red rock canyons to 11,000 foot mountains, you'll see more country than you thought possible. Contact the San Juan ATV Safari for information.
